Dear Sir,
Just a few lines Reference to my General Service medal which I am justly entitled to . As I enlisted on August 1914 and was Discharged on June 6th month 1917 As unfit for any kind of military service. As an ex-Service man I think I am entitled to the above medal which is now in circulation and issued to men who served in the Yorks and Lancs ? who served .. also of other Regiments.
As my name starts with a B As I hear you are distributing these General Service medals out in alphabetable order.
As my name starts with a B I do not see why I should not have eredeived mine by now. So please be kind enough to ? into my ? and if possible send it on to this address
Mr William Burgar
67 Charles St
Thornhill
Riotherham

And oblige
Yours truly
