Albert Michael Burgar was born in 1897 in Farnham Hants.16 Civil Registration of Births reference is Dec 1897 V 2a p 106  - Farnham Hants16

GRO Regimental Birth Indices (1761-1924) has :

Albert M Burgar                Aldershot,   1897                8th  Hussars 270, 132

It seems that his father, Joseph Henry Burgar, recorded the birth in both the registers for the 15th and 8th Hussars Regiments.

Albert Michael Burgar joined up for the First World War in 1914 when he was 16 years old.
